· Safely driving and maneuvering the desludging vacuum truck to various locations. 

· Performing pre-shift vehicle inspections and ensuring proper functionality of vacuum pumps, hoses, and other equipment. 

· Maintaining accurate logbooks of routes, volumes collected, and disposal sites. 

· Connecting vacuum hoses to septic tanks or other waste sources. 

· Operating vacuum pumps to effectively extract sludge from tanks. 

· Monitoring vacuum pressure and adjusting settings as needed. 

· Properly disconnecting hoses and securing the waste collection point. Transporting collected sludge to designated treatment or disposal facilities. 

· Following proper procedures for unloading and disposing of waste according to environmental regulations. 

· Coordinating with facility personnel to ensure smooth waste transfer. 

· Communicating with customers to schedule desludging services and address any concerns. 

· Maintaining a professional demeanor and providing courteous service. 

· Adhering to all safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling and confined space entry. 

· Performing routine maintenance checks on the vacuum truck and reporting any issues promptly. 

· Cleaning and sanitizing the truck and equipment after each job.
